People are their books and books are people.
I have seen so often writers begin and then turn away from stories at the midpoint. This made me see that the person begins a story with the wonderful possibility of escaping themselves into a greater identity. The one they were born with before the drones came.
Ideas free minds. So with enthusiasm the writer sits with the new, and it becomes, over time, a reality. Then the reality of their lives comes for them, the ideas tarnish through practice, the efforts have to conspire with vision and the vision clouds as the issues in the human life come close.
What you can Expect
Suzanne Changes Lives
I worked with Suzanne as a mentor for a number of years. I’ll never forget my first day.
I really felt I didn’t belong and that my writing was not up to scratch. It was Suzanne who changed all this.
She's both an amazing mentor and editor and is the reason I’m still writing. It’ll be the best thing you’ll ever do; at least that’s how it worked for me!
Helena Duggan, author and illustratorCommitted, Unique, Remarkable
Suzanne’s instinctive abilities allowed the students under her tutelage to flourish. She has gone way beyond the required teaching role in her support. Suzanne’s passion for all forms of writing and her ability to develop the student’s capacity for understanding their world through creative processes is unique and remarkable.

The Most Sought After
Suzanne is an enthusiastic, gifted and inspiring teacher. That is usually enough for anyone. It's plenty.
How many teachers have you had that would fit that description and if you had any, what influence did they have on you? There you go! Add to that a zest for life and literature, wicked sense of humour, an ability to have fun and spread that around. I know what I am talking about - in eleven years of running the West Cork Literary Festival Suzanne's workshops were the most sought after, the most talked about, and produced the best buzz. A teacher to her fingertips and a writer from the heart.Clem Cairns, Fish Publishing

‘Pure was I created and pure will I remain forever...
And the sheet of snow white paper did remain pure
and chaste forever — pure and chaste — and empty.
